About Carman Dragone
Carman Dragone has built a legacy working with marching bands, color guards, and percussion units. He is the Founder of Musical Arts Conference, a nonprofit organizing body for high schools in Connecticut. Formerly, Carman served as the Director of the Trumbull High School marching band for 27 years, winning several titles and leading the band to march in two Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parades and 2 Presidential Inaugural Parades. He also started THSGEMBALUMNI.com, a website and organization serving as a resource for Trumbull High School alums. For his work, Carman has been honored on multiple occasions by the Trumbull Board of Education for his service to the town.
In addition to his career in music, Carman Dragone is known for his work in business and entrepreneurship. With a name foreshadowing his career, Carman is the Sales Manager at Blasius Auto Group. In this role, he continues building upon the foundation of experience he received as a kid when he would help out with his father’s business, Mimi Dragone Inc., a wholesale operation moving about 300 vehicles a month.
Carman Dragone was the Used Car Director for Sullivan Automotive Group in Torrington, Connecticut, where he managed a 4-rooftop, 9-brand dealer group. Prior to that, Carman was a Sales Professional for Blasius Chevrolet/Cadillac, the number one volume Chevrolet dealership in Connecticut. There, he averaged 23+ cars a month. Carman also operated as the Owner of Mimi Dragone Incorporated. In 2010, Carman owned and operated Dragone Motors Inc., a successful second location in Waterbury, CT. During that role, Carman Dragone managed a team of 10 employees, fostering a sense of passion and a common unified sales mission.
Carman Dragone completed his studies at Northwood University, earning a degree in Economics alongside specialized coursework in Automotive Management. Before his university journey, Carman graduated from Trumbull High School in 1989, leaving a notable mark through his active participation in various extracurricular activities. He contributed to the school’s vibrant tennis team, showcasing his athleticism and team spirit. Moreover, his passion for music shone through his involvement in marching and concert bands, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to the arts. Carman’s multifaceted engagement during high school laid a solid foundation for his future endeavors in academia and beyond.
Carman Dragone has been happily married for 27 years, balancing his role as a dedicated Rodan & Fields Consultant, devoted husband, and proud father of three children. Carman excels in his professional endeavors and finds fulfillment in nurturing his loving relationship with his spouse and cherishing the joys of parenthood.
